Box Score BUTTE, Mont. – The Montana Tech men's basketball team concluded 2014 with a 93-76 victory over Concordia University College of Alberta Sunday night.
The Digger defense had 16 steals and forced 23 Thunder turnovers. Tech also scored 28 points off of CUCA turnovers. Tech dominated the middle, scoring 50 points in the paint.
Montana Tech (8-5) was led by forward
Adam Greger who registered his 12
th double-double of the season with a game-high 23 points and 10 rebounds. Senior
Antonio Snow returned in full form with a season-high 21 points. Transfer
Chase Haack filled the stat sheet with 10 points, nine boards, five assists, a block and a steal.
CUCA had five players in double figures highlighted by Artez Scharer's team-high 19.
Tech came out firing early in the first half jumping to a 21-9 advantage thanks to a three pointer by Haack. The Digger lead would soon escalate to 17 (33-16) with 8:41 remaining off of a Snow put back. CUCA would not crumble however, chipping the lead down to 45-34 at the half.
The Thunder came out of the locker room shooting 68.8 percent in the second half to pull within five points with 9:52 ticks on the clock. Tech point guard
Antonio Snow took matters in his own hands with a steal and a two-handed slam to start a Digger run. Tech capitalized on their stifling defense forcing several Thunder turnovers leading to a 12-0 Digger run sealing the victory.

th to get ready for Calgary and our conference schedule."
The Diggers are off for two weeks to celebrate the holidays and return to host the University of Calgary on Jan. 3 at 7:30 p.m.
