LEWISTON, Idaho – The Lewis-Clark State Warriors got revenge against the Orediggers at home Thursday night handing Tech a 3-0 sweep.
Montana Tech (14-9, 2-4) drops their straight while Lewis-Clark (15-10, 4-3) picks up the win 25-21, 25-17, 28-26.
The Orediggers trailed most of the night taking the lead only three times. Tech completed just 36 kills on 115 attacks. The Warriors had less difficulty notching 53 kills on the night.
Middle blocker
Bailie Cortner led the Diggers with 12 kills and just one error hitting 0.524 in the match. She added two blocks on the defensive side.
Senior
Sydney Norris had seven kills and
Jordan Danz and
Karina Mickelson each had six.
Makenzie Bauck had 34 assists and five digs.
Kennadie Clute led the Warriors with 18 kills and a 0.400 hitting percentage. Treneisha Doyle dropped 14 kills and a
0.281 hitting percentage.
The Orediggers finish their long road trip on Saturday when they face Montana Western.
