BUTTE, Mont. – The University of Great Falls stifled Montana Tech Saturday night. The Argos took down the Diggers 3-1 25-10, 25-21, 20-25, 25-20.

Montana Tech (4-5, 16-10) splits on the weekend.

The University of Great Falls (4-4, 22-8) gets back to .500 also splitting matches on the week.

The Argos were hot out of the gate out playing Tech at the net in the first two frames. Great Falls posted 32 kills to Tech's 18. Tech struggled in the kills department getting outhit in the match 56-40.

Montana Tech had two players barely hit double figures. Sydney Norris had 10 kills, two blocks and six digs.

Karina Mickelson posted 10 kills and a pair of blocks.

Kelsee Montagna led the Argos with 17 kills and 10 block assists.

Montana Tech hosts top ranked Rocky Mountain College next Friday at the HPER Complex.
