Box Score GREAT FALLS—Struggles in the second quarter doomed Montana Tech against the University of Great Falls, 74-62.

The Lady Diggers (5-13, 1-6) shot just 5-for-29 from three point land in the loss. Montana Tech was outscored 21-9 in the second quarter. 

Kourtney Coverdell scored 13 points while Hattie Thatcher and Sammy McGree scored 12 apiece for Montana Tech. Kaylynn Coverdell scored 10 points and grabbed a career-high 15 rebounds.

Stephanie McDonagh scored a game-high 20 points and Erin Legel chipped in 18 for the Lady Argos.

Montana Tech returns home to take on Carroll College on Thursday at 5:30 PM.
