Box Score BUTTE- No. 22 Montana Tech fell to No. 5 Southern Oregon 24-10 Saturday afternoon on Bob Green Field.

The Orediggers (6-4) gained 393 yards of offense but struggled to score in the red zone throughout the contest.

Quinn McQueary completed 29-of-63 pass attempts for 302 yards. McQueary connected with six different receivers on the day. McQueary rushed 14 times for 35 yards including Montana Techs only touchdown of the day.

Dion Williams hauled in 10 passes for 126 yards. Williams' 10 grabs gives him 77 for the season breaking the school record set by Zack Kinney in 2013.

Chris Kelly caught seven passes for 54 yards and Sean Sullivan added six catches for 63 yards. Chris LaChance had three receptions for 42 yards.

Derrick Holt booted a 39 yard field goal in the second quarter to put Montana Tech on the scoreboard early.

The Diggers held Southern Oregon to 443 yards of total offense and just 19 first downs.

Tyler Sanders led Montana Tech with 11 tackles and one tackle for loss. Connor Wines added nine tackles and 2.5 tackles for loss. Wines also registered a sack on the day.
