Lukas Vining's 22-point performance wasn't enough as the Orediggers fell to Rocky Mountain College 79-60 Thursday night.
Vining scored over 20-points for the fourth consecutive game for the Diggers as the sophomore was 8-for-19 from the floor and 4-for-6 from three-point land. Vining has averaged 24.2 points per game over the last four games for the Diggers.
Trailing by just 11 points at the half, Montana Tech got solid production from 
Chris O'Neill who scored 18 points and hit four threes for the Diggers. Montana Tech was 10-for-20 from three in the loss.
The Orediggers shot 40 percent from the floor and only turned the ball over 11 times while turning over the Battlin' Bears 16 times.
Montana Tech travels to Dillon to take on Montana Western Saturday night at 7:30 P.M.
