BUTTE, Mont. – The Orediggers started slow, but came back strong downing the Saints 22-25, 26-24, 25-14, 25-13.
Montana Tech (15-14, 7-4) and Carroll played point for point in the first set before the Saints pulled ahead to take the first set.
The Orediggers struggled early and were down by as many as ten in the second frame. Down 22-13, Tech stormed back with a 12-2 run to win the set.
Montana Tech finished off the Saints in the final two sets.
The Orediggers led the attack with 51 kills to just 37 from the Saints. Montana Tech finished with a team hitting percentage of .146.
Senior
Masha Korol had a match-high 18 kills hitting .211 in the match. She added 19 digs and a pair of block assists for Senior Night.
Karina Mickelson added 13 kills and 18 digs.
Senior setter
Hannah Liss had 27 assists in the match.
Montana Tech travels to Lewiston, Idaho for their final regular season match on Friday against Lewis-Clark State.
