BUTTE, Mont. – Montana Tech women's basketball concluded Field Trip Day with Butte Elementary students by overpowering Salish Kootenai 101-24.
The Orediggers (10-3, 0-2) had three players go over the 20-point mark. The team shot 60.7 percent in the game and 50 percent from beyond the arc.
Mollie Peoples led the squad with 24 points shooting 10 of 15 and 3 for 7 from deep. She also had three assists and three steals.
Mesa Williams had 22 points going 8 for 12 and 4 for 8 from deep.
Shay Potter hit a double-double with 20 points and 10 rebounds. The junior center also had seven steals and four assist.
Dani Urick had 19 points shooting 7 for 9 and 4 for 5 from three point range.
Lauren Leftahand led the Bison with 10 points.
