HELENA, Mont – Montana Tech could not overcome a first half deficit against Carroll College falling 66-55.
The Orediggers (13-12, 3-10) lose their fifth straight and third game to the Saints this season.
The Diggers trailed 39-23 at the break.
Tech struggled from deep hitting just 4 of 19 from three. Carroll shot 48.1 percent from the field in the game to 32.1 percent by the Orediggers.
Kaylynn Coverdell led the Diggers with 13 points shooting 6 for 11 in the game.
Kourtney Coverdell had 10 points as the only other Digger in double figures.
Hannah Dean had 19 points for the Saints and Bailey Pasta had 16.
The Orediggers are on the road again Saturday against Rocky Mountain College.
