KANSAS CITY, Mo. – The National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA) announced the seventh edition of the Coaches Top 25 Poll today. Montana Tech moved up one place in the national poll to No. 19.

The Orediggers (5-2) defeated the Eastern Oregon Mountaineers on Bob Green Field Saturday 23-10. Montana Tech held the Mountaineers to just 171 yards of total offense and just 43 yards rushing.

Morningside (Iowa) continues to hold the top spot in the Coaches Poll as they have all season. Kansas Wesleyan fell one place and switched places with Marian (Ind.) after they nearly lost over the weekend. Saint Francis (Ind.) fell 10 spots from No. 6 to
16 after losing to Siena Heights (Mich.) who moved up four places into No. 14.

Dickinson State lost to unranked Valley City and fell out of the top 20 to No. 21.

Montana Tech leads the Frontier Conference in Total Defense per Game and Scoring Defense per Game and travels to Ashland, Oregon to take on Southern Oregon on Saturday at 2 PM MST.
