BUTTE, Mont. – Montana Tech Athletics released the 2019 football schedule today. The Orediggers open the season at home on Bob Green Field on Saturday September 7^th against the College of Idaho.
 
The home opener Copper Game will be presented by Rocky Mountain Credit Union. This season's Copper Game is the fourth after starting the tradition in 2016. The home opener kicks off at 1 p.m.
 
The Orediggers second home appearance is the Hall of Fame Game on September 21^st against Southern Oregon. Montana Western comes to the Mining City for Homecoming on October 12^th. Homecoming this year is slated to be played under the lights starting at 6 p.m.
 
Montana Tech's final two home games are against Eastern Oregon on October 26^th and the season finale against Rocky Mountain on November 16^th.
 
Road games this year take the Orediggers to Eastern Oregon on September 14^th, Montana State Northern on September 28^th, College of Idaho October 19^th, Southern Oregon November 2^nd and Carroll College on November 9^th.
 
Montana Tech starts spring football on March 25^th when students return from spring break. Family Day which is open to the public is the same day as the Digger Athletics annual auction on April 13^th. The Orediggers conclude spring practice on April 20^th. 
 
Season ticket renewals begin on April 15^th.
