OFFENSE
Campbell Leads the Offense—Against Southern Oregon, redshirt sophomore quarterback Jet Campbell posted his best mark of the season completing 19-of-31 for 246 yards. Campbell didn't throw a TD pass, but ran in a 10-yard score and caught another from Kiley Caprara to lead the Orediggers over SOU. Campbell ranks 5th in the conference in passing yards per game (210.7) and 4th in Pass Efficiency (143.2).

Dual Backfield—After Jed Fike went out in the first quarter, running backs Tyler Folkes and Blake Counts stepped up to carry the load the rest of the game. The redshirt sophomore and true freshman pair combined for 33 carries and 107 yards.

Career Day—Redshirt sophomore Kiley Caprara is showing big potential early in the season with a career day against the Raiders. The Butte native caught 7 passes for 75 yards, both career highs, and completed his first collegiate pass to Jet Campbell for a touchdown in the second quarter.Â

High on Hoffman—Trevor Hoffman caught 7 passes for 131 yards against Southern Oregon. It was the first game he did not reach the end zone this season. The redshirt sophomore is first in the Frontier in total receiving yards (372) and 7th in the NAIA. Hoffman is second in the Frontier in receptions (21) and receptions per game (7.0) and ranks 14th and 9th nationally.

Punting Prowess—Punter Nik Nunez leads the Frontier in punting averaging 42.5 yards per kick on 15 punts. The redshirt sophomore had a season-long 57 yard boot against the Raiders.

Safe Keeping—The Orediggers had their first interception Saturday and the Oredigger offense has only two turnovers on the season.
DEFFENSE
How 'Bout that Digger D—The Oredigger defense held the Southern Oregon offense to their lowest point and yardage total of the season. The Raiders posted 438 yards of offense the previous game against COI. The Orediggers held them to 231 total yards and just 157 passing. Tech held the Raiders to just 14 first downs and had a season-high 3 sacks. The defense also broke up 7 passes and had an interception.

Solid Secondary—The Orediggers rank second in the Frontier in pass defense giving up just 164.7 yards per game and 4 passing TDs. Opponents are completing a league low 47.7% of their passes. The secondary had 12 solo stops and 20 total tackles last week against the Raiders.

Knock Down—Sophomore Jake Orvis is ranked 2nd in the Frontier and 5th nationally in passes defended. The Billings native knocked down two more passes against SOU. Orvis has 5 broken passes and an interception this season.

Senior Leaders—Senior linebacker Jacob Clarke led the Orediggers Saturday with 7 tackles, 2.5 TFL and 1.5 sacks. Carter Myers, the other senior linebacker, had 6 tackles and a sack, with five solo tackles. Myers leads the team in tackles and ranks 8th in the Frontier in total tackles (24).

Big Stops—The Oredigger defense came up big when it counted last week. Junior defensive back Naoki Harmer had a pass break up in one of the final drives. Redshirt sophomore defensive lineman Jesse Sims knocked down a pass in the final drive. Myers and Ike Schweikert sacked the Raider QB before senior defensive back Damaree Morris intercepted a pass in the final minutes to seal the victory.
