Torgerson earns 31 CSC Creative & Digital Design Contest honors

LAS VEGAS, Nev. -- Montana Tech's Kyle Torgerson continued to collect awards for his work covering Oredigger athletics, College Sports Communicators announced last week with its full list of 2025-26 CSC Creative & Digital Design Contest winners. 

Torgerson, who operates Kyle Torgerson Creative and works extensively with Oredigger athletics and the Montana Tech Foundation, piled up 31 awards in the contest, including five first-place honors in the 'Best of Interns' category and two more in 'Best of NAIA.' 

CSC had previously named him a finalist for its College Division Videographer of the Year award. 

A 2024 Montana Tech graduate, Torgerson played parts of four seasons on the Oredigger football team before injury cut his career short in 2024. The Great Falls High product was a second-team All-Frontier Conference wide receiver in 2022 and the program's NAIA Champion of Character honoree in 2024.

Torgerson's work was selected out of more than 1,500 entries in the College Division and nearly 250 throughout the NAIA. 

College Sports Communicators was founded in 1957 and is a 4,700-plus-member national association for strategic, creative and digital communicators across intercollegiate athletics in the United States and Canada. From its founding in 1957 until the 2022 name change, the organization was known as College Sports Information Directors of America.
