BUTTE, Mont.- The Orediggers saturday night was spoiled by MSU-Northern on Saturday night with Northern winning in overtime, 75-73.
The Orediggers (11-7, 1-5 Conf.) received 19 points off the bench from
Mollie Peoples.
Kaylee Zard and
Tavia Rooney each tallied double-doubles in the loss as Zard scored 16 and pulled down 10 rebounds and
Tavia Rooney scored 14 points and grabbed 14 boards.
Mesa Williams scored 10 points while
Dani Urick and
Celestina Faletoi each scored six points.
Hope Lalau scored two points.
Montana Tech shot 37% from the floor and 27.3% from three while the Skylights shot 36.8% from the floor and 15.8% from three. Hailey Nicholson scored 24 points and McKenzie Gunter scored 23.
The Orediggers return to action next Thursday when they host Rocky Mountain College at 5:30 p.m. at Kelvin Sampson Court.
