LEWISTON, Idaho- Montana Tech hung tough with nationally ranked Lewis-Clark State before falling 63-52 in the Frontier Conference Playoffs at the LCSC Activity Center.
Montana Tech (14-17, 4-14 Conf.) trailed the Warriors by just three points at halftime, 31-28.
The Orediggers were led in scoring by
Tavia Rooney who had a double-double with 15 points and 10 rebounds.
Mesa Williams scored 13 points while
Mollie Peoples scored 9.
Dani Urick added 7 points,
Kaylee Zard scored 6 points and grabbed a game-high 13 rebounds while
Celestina Faletoi scored 2 points.
Montana Tech shot 32.8% from the floor and 78% from the free throw line. The Warriors shot 35.9% for the contest and were led by Kiara Burlage's 21 points.
