HELENA, Mont.- Montana Tech's early struggles doomed their chances on Saturday night in Helena as the Diggers fell to the Saints, 88-70. 
Montana Tech's slow start had them trailing Carroll 45-27 at the end of the first half. 
The Diggers  are were led in scoring by 
Christian Jones and 
Cody Baumstarck's 11 points. Camdyn Larance scored 10 points, 
Taylor England nine, and 
Nate Ward seven. 
Derrius Collins, 
Sindou Diallo, and 
Bridger Deden pitched in six. 
Keeley Bake scored three and 
Bridger Larson added one. 
The Orediggers kept even with the Saints in the second half each scoring 43 points. Dennis Flowers III scored 22 points to lead the Saints. 
Montana Tech and Carroll College will meet up again on Sunday at 4 p.m.
