BUTTE, Mont. – No. 17 Montana Tech made quick work of Rocky Mountain sweeping the Battlin' Bears 25-14, 25-13, 25-23.

The Orediggers (19-8, 5-3) win their second straight match.

Tech dominated the attack with 46 kills to just 24 by the Bears. The Orediggers finished with a .257 hitting percentage.

Rocky hit for .049.

Maureen Jessop led the Orediggers with 14 kills and a .375 hitting percentage.

Karina Mickelson had 13 kills hitting for .375.

Olivia Muir finished with 10 kills hitting .217.

McKenna Kaelber finished with 42 assists.

Sarah Hopcroft had 20 digs.

Weiying Wu led the Bears with 6 kills and a .308 hitting percentage.

Montana Tech is home again Wednesday for their final home match of the season against Montana Western.
