DILLON, Mont. – Montana Tech volleyball dominated at Montana Western sweeping the Bulldogs 25-20, 26-24, 25-15.
The Orediggers (14-5, 2-2) never trailed and there were only three ties in the match.
The attack was even with each team having 30 kills each. Western committed 27 hitting errors to just 14 by the Orediggers. Tech finished hitting .138 in the match while Western finished with .023.
The Orediggers had 11 blocks and the Bulldogs finished with 7.
Maureen Jessop led the Orediggers with 10 kills and a .156 hitting percentage.
Taylor Henley had 7 kills and
Olivia Muir had 6.
McKenna Kaelber had 24 assists.
Sarah Hopcroft led the defense with 18 digs.
Hailey Anderson, Peyton Vogl, and Morgan Stenger had 5 kills each.
Montana Tech is home on Saturday night when they host MSU-Northern at 6 p.m.
