BUTTE, Mont. – Montana Tech made quick work of MSU-Northern sweeping the Skylights 25-16, 25-15, 25-19.
The Orediggers (15-5, 3-2) had 18 kills in the first set finishing with 43 in the match. The Skylights had just 19 kills.
Tech hit for .239 as a team.
Maureen Jessop had 14 kills and just 2 errors finishing with a .414 hitting percentage.
Karina Mickelson also turned in a 14 kills performance and just 3 errors hitting for .393.
Taylor Henley had 6 kills and Oliva Muir finished with 5.
McKenna Kaelber had 33 assists.
Sarah Hopcroft had 15 digs.
Rylee Burmester led Northern with 10 kills and a .188 hitting percentage.
The Orediggers travel to Iowa next weekend for the Grand View Tournament in Des Moines.
