Scouting the Yotes —The Yotes come to Butte after a last second loss to Carroll College last week. The Saints came from two touchdowns behind scoring in the final minute to win 28-21.

The Yotes have a potent rushing attack featuring senior running back Nick Calzaretta who is averaging 124.8 yards a game with 7 rushing touchdowns on the season. Calzaretta has three 100+ rushing games this season and one 200+ performance.

The Yotes also feature a stout defense with 16 sacks, 35 tackles for loss, and 5 interceptions. Junior linebacker Dylan Martinez leads the defense with 51 total tackles, 7 tackles for a loss, and 2 forced fumbles.

Ranked Opponents—Four out of the five opponents Tech has faced this season have been ranked in the NAIA Coaches' Top 25 or receiving votes in the poll. College of Idaho is receiving votes this week but was ranked in the previous poll.

Offense Rolling—The Oredigger offensive production has picked up in the last three games. After being held under 300 yards of production in the first two games of the season, the Orediggers have produced over 400 yards the last three outings. The Orediggers are 2-1 when gaining over 400 yards. Tech is averaging 373.8 yards per game on the season.

Start the Jet—Junior quarterback
Jet Campbell turned in his best performance of the season. Campbell completed 17 of 32 attempts for 300 yards and 3 touchdowns. Campbell's production has increased with each game this season. He is averaging 229.4 yards per game and has 9 passing touchdowns.

Trumble Causes Trouble—Zach Trumble returned to action after missing two games. The redshirt sophomore defensive lineman led the team with 7 tackles. Trumble brought down the quarterback twice and had 4.5 tackles for a loss. Trumble's second sack of the game came in the fourth quarter stopping Northern on a fourth down attempt deep in Tech territory. Trumble is the first Oredigger to have two sacks in a game this season.Â

Crossing the Century Mark—Sophomore running back
Blake Counts broke the century mark against MSU-Northern last weekend rushing for 104 yards on 25 carries. But Counts hands got the Orediggers on the scoreboard. Counts caught a 23-yard touchdown pass for the first score of the game. The Flathead HS product has 392 yards rushing through five games and is averaging 78.4 yards per outing. Counts has 3 touchdowns rushing and 1 receiving on the season.

Wyant Weighs In—Freshman linebacker
Cole Wyant got his second sack of the season against the Lights. Wyant also had 2 tackles in the game. Wyant has 31 tackles on the season and 2 sacks. The Rocklin, California native is averaging 6.2 tackles a game.
