EUGENE, Oregon – The Bushnell Beacons turned the tables and outran Montana Tech 75-63.
The Orediggers (5-4) won their first meeting in Butte but couldn't catch the Beacons on their turf.
Tech trailed 38-23 at the break. The Orediggers tried to make up some ground in the fourth quarter but were just too far behind.
The Orediggers shot 43.9 percent from the field and hit 8 of 15 from long.
Both teams committed 20 turnovers.
The Beacons outrebounded the Orediggers 41-27.
Aspen Slifka led all scorers with 34 points shooting 14 of 19 from the field and going 5 for 9 from beyond the arc.
Brooke Heggie led the Orediggers with 15 going 6 of 12 from the field. Heggie also had five rebounds and two assists.
Tavia Rooney had 13 points and four rebounds.
McKayla Kloker had nine points.
Ally Cleverly finished with eight.
The Orediggers return home next Saturday when they host Dickinson State.
