HAVRE, Mont. – The Montana Tech volleyball team wrapped up the regular season with a 3-1 victory over MSU-Northern.
After dropping the first set, Tech won the next three 21-25, 25-17, 25-15, 25-14.
The Orediggers (21-8, 7-3) finish second in the Frontier Conference standings and will receive a bye in the first round of the conference tournament next weekend.
Tech outhit Northern 52-29 finishing with a team hitting percentage of .240. The Orediggers finished with 12 total blocks.
Maureen Jessop had a great night leading the Orediggers with 16 kills and just three errors. Jessop finished with a .433 hitting percentage and had five blocks.
Olivia Muir and
Sydney Parks had nine kills each. Parks also had five blocks.
Taylor Henley and
Karina Mickelson had seven kills a piece. Henley had a match-high seven blocks.
McKenna Kaelber had 40 assists and two blocks.
Sarah Hopcroft had 25 digs.
Rylee Burmester had 11 kills for the Skylights. Elissa Lind finished with 10.
Carroll College host the Frontier Conference Tournament in Helena next weekend.
