Billings, Mont.- Montana Tech's fast start was too much for the Battlin' Bears as the Diggers got the win 81-63 on Saturday night. 

Montana Tech (10-9, 10-7 Conf.) picked up their seventh straight win over Rocky after jumping out to a 5-35  halftime lead. The Diggers finished the night shooting 57.1% from the floor and  45.5%  from three. 

Sindou Diallo paced five Orediggers in double figures  with 20 points  while  Markeith Brown Jr. scored 16, Taylor England added 13, Cody Baumstarck 11, and Drew Huse 10.

Rocky's Kevin Fassu led the Battlin' Bears with 16 points. 

The two teams square off again at  2 p.m. tomorrow.
