BUTTE, Mont.- The Montana Tech fell short on Sunday afternoon to MSU-Northern 61-49 at Kelvin Sampson Court.
The Orediggers finish the regular season with 12-10 mark overall and a 12-8 record in Frontier Conference play. The Diggers will be the No. 3 seed in the Frontier Conference tournament which starts Thursday.
Montana Tech trailed 15-0 to start the game and finished the day shooting just 29.8% from the floor and 25.0% from three.
Sindou Diallo led the Diggers with 19 points while Markeith Brown Jr. added 12.
Taylor England scored six,
Derrius Collins five,
John Dhuol three, and
Christian Jones and
Drew Huse had two.
Northern was led by Mascio McCadney's 23 points and the Lights finished the night shooting 44.3% from the field and 30.8 % from three.
Montana Tech will face Rocky Mountain College in the Frontier Conference tournament on Thursday evening at 7 p.m.
