Last Time
The Orediggers (6-8) were in Havre last weekend a completed the season sweep of Montana State Northern downing the Skylights 3-1 Friday and 3-0 Saturday.
 
Tech downed Northern in four sets Friday 25-20, 25-19,12-25, 25-17. The Orediggers outhit Northern 51-45 on Friday  finishing with a .158 hitting percentage. Mo Jessop led the attack with 16 kills hitting .317 and also had 17 digs. Karina Mickelson had 11 kills and Taylor Henley added 9.
 
The Orediggers kept rolling Saturday  winning 25-16, 25-18, 25-19. Tech outhit the Skylights 34-26 and posted a .232 hitting percentage committing just 12 hitting errors. Mickelson had 10 kills and Jessop and Henley added 9 each.
 
Scouting the Argos
The No. 20 Argos (12-2) moved into first place in the Frontier Conference standings last weekend after downing No. 17 Rocky Mountain 3-1 in both matches. The Argos have won 10 straight matches.
 
Middle Sadie Lott leads the Argos at the net with a conference leading 216 total kills averaging 3.7 per set with a .242 hitting percentage. Lott is ranked third in hitting percentage in the Frontier.
 
Setter Cydney Finberg-Roberts lead the conference with 693 assists and 11.8 assists per set.
 
Libero Sacha Legros leads the Frontier with 434 digs averaging 7.4 per set.
 
Against the Argos
The Argos defeated the Orediggers 3-1 and 3-1 in Great Falls. Both team had strong hitting in the two matches. Sadie Lott had 40 kills for the Argos and Karina Mickelson had 39 kills in the two matches. The Orediggers had 25.5 blocks in the two matches.
 
Top Hitters
The two top hitters in the Frontier Conference will go head-to-head this weekend. Karina Mickelson and Sadie Lott lead the conference in kills per set and total kills. Mickelson had 21 kills in 7 sets against Northern last weekend.  Lott had a big weekend against Rocky tallying 34 kills and just 5 errors. Mo Jessop posted 25 kills last weekend and ranks 6th in the conference in kills per set (3.0).
 
In the Polls

The second poll of the 2020-21 NAIA Women's Volleyball Coaches' Top 25 was released this week. The Orediggers fell out of the poll after starting at No. 17 in the preseason rankings. Rocky Mountain moved up one spot to No. 17 and the University of Providence moved into No. 20 after being ranked No. 24. Carroll College is receiving votes.
 
Block Leaders
Montana Tech leads the Frontier in total blocks (148) and blocks per set (2.7). The Orediggers rank 6th in the NAIA in Blocks per Set. Sydney Parks posted 8 blocks last weekend including 4 solo against the Skylights. Parks leads the conference in blocks per set (1.1).
