BUTTE, Mont. – Montana Tech ran away with the victory against Carroll College downing the Saints 16-25, 25-16, 25-15, 25-10.
The Orediggers split with the Saints on the season 2-2.
After dropping the first set, the Orediggers (8-10) caught fire in the final three frames. The Orediggers hit for .222 in the second, .429 in the third, and .195 in the fourth. Tech finished with a .198 hitting percentage.
The Orediggers had 50 kills to just 37 from the Saints and led in team blocks 11 to 8.5.
Maureen Jessop led the Oredigger attack with 15 kills hitting for .308. Jessop also had 18 digs.
Taylor Henley had 12 kills and
Karina Mickelson had 11.
Sydney Parks had 5 kills and 7 blocks.
Mckenna Kaelber had 42 assists.
Lexi Gleasman had 10 kills for the Saints.
Montana Tech hosts the first round of the Frontier Conference Tournament on Tuesday against Montana Western.
