DILLON, Mont. – No. 20 Montana Tech came from behind to grind out the victory over Montana Western 76-69.
The Orediggers (21-5, 10-1) extend their win streak to eight games.
A late turnover by the Bulldogs in the final minute and the Orediggers hit 7 of 8 free throws to clinch the victory.
Tech trailed 36-26 after the first half. The Orediggers shot 35.7% in the first half but hit over 50% in the second.
The Orediggers finished shooting 20 of 26 from the free throw line.
Caleb Bellach led the Orediggers with 22 points.
Sindou Diallo had 15 on the night.
Taylor England had a double-double with 11 points and 13 rebounds.
Keeley Bake had 11 points off the bench going 3 for 3 from deep.
Jamal Stephenson led the Bulldogs with 25 points. Jalen Hodges had 11 points and 10 rebounds.
Montana Tech travels to Billings to face Rocky Mountain Saturday afternoon.
