BUTTE, Mont.- This is going to be an epic week for Montana Tech.
The Orediggers have four "Fall Season" sports: Football, Volleyball, Men's Cross Country, and Women's Cross Country. At the end of the regular season all four of the Oredigger programs were ranked in the Top 25 nationally, and this weekend every one of them will be competing in the National Tournament/Event.
And, that isn't all!
 On top of that, we have the men's basketball team hosting the Montana Tech Fall Classic.
So here is a look at our complete schedule this week.

BASKETBALL:
It all starts on Thursday with the Montana Tech Fall Classic at the HPER, there will be two games:
5P- University of Providence vs. Lewis Clark State
7P- Montana Tech vs. Dickinson State University
Friday will see two games as well:
5P- University of Providence vs. Dickinson State University
7P- Montana Tech vs. Lewis Clark State

CROSS COUNTRY:
The Oredigger Cross Country teams are both in Vancouver, Washington for the 44
th Annual Cross Country National Championship.
The women's field consists of 36 teams that have qualified for the event, 24 automatic qualifiers, 11 at-large berths, and one host berth. The Orediggers received an At-Large bid into the National Event. Montana Tech is led by Frontier Conference Individual Champion Carlin Manning.
 The women's 6K event will start at 10:30 AM PT (11:30 MT)
The men's 8K will follow at 11:30 AM PT (12:30 PM MT). Like the women's race, the men's field will also have representation from 36 teams, the Oredigger men – who finished second at the Frontier Conference Championships last weekend- will be led on the course by Edwin Kipainoi and Justin Morgan, who finished second and third respectively at the Frontier Championships.

FOOTBALL:
Saturday 1PM- Bob Green Field at Alumni Coliseum, the Orediggers of Montana Tech will host Dickinson State University in the first round of the 2023 NAIA Football Playoffs. The teams have played 16 times since 1971, and more recently 4 times in the past 10 years. The last two meetings were both in the first round of the NAIA Playoffs in 2015, and again in 2016. Volleyball:
Saturday 5PM- HPER, Butte.- the 11th-ranked Orediggers will host the College of Idaho in an opening-round matchup of the 2023 NAIA Women's Volleyball Championship. Butte Montana is one of 24 opening round locations, where the field of 48 will be thinned to 24 before they meet in Sioux City, Iowa starting on November 29
th.
The Orediggers and Yotes actually played during the Big Sky Volleyball Challenge on August 18
