HAVRE, Mont.- Make it thirteen in a row.
The Orediggers have won every meeting between Tech and MSU-Northern since 2014, as the Diggs took down the Lights 28-0 in Havre on Saturday.
The Orediggers amassed 558 yards of total offense and held Northern to 97 total yards. All of Northern's offensive numbers came through the air, as they were held to 0 yards rushing on the day.
Junior Quarterback
Blake Thelen continued his strong season, throwing for 302 yards and a pair of touchdowns, on 19-31 passing. His main target was once again
Wyatt Alexander, Wyatt snagged 7 catches for 122 yards and one touchdown. Wyatt has six games this season with over 120 yards receiving. On the year he has 45 catches for 963 yards and eight touchdowns.
The Digger running game was strong, going for 274 yards on 35 carries. Junior
Ethan Renner had a career day rushing for 106 yards and one score, on 10 carries. Ethan is the fourth Orediggers this season to rush for over 100 yards.
Kaleb Winterburn rushed for 81 yards and one touchdown as well.
Northern quarterback Ashton Platt passed for 97 yards, completing 13 passes on 24 attempts. Jeramiah Benson finished with three catches for 40 yards.
The Orediggers (6-3, 5-2 Conf.) will finish the regular season on the road at Carroll College next Saturday at 1 pm.
