HELENA, Mont.- The Frontier Conference has announced their Indoor Track Field Athletes of the Week, and the Men's Field Athlete of the Week is Oredigger Cade VanVleet.
A contingent of the Oredigger Track and Field team was on the road at the Aggie Speed and Power Meet in Logan Utah, at Utah State's Nelson Field House. Competing in a field made up of many Division I, and Division II schools, Cade placed 3
rd overall in the Men's Weight Throw with a toss of 16.37m (53'8 ½). In placing 3
rd,VanVleet was able to outperform athletes from Utah State, Weber State, and Northwest Nazarene.
VanVleet a sophomore from Noxon, Mont. marked in four of his six throws and is fast approaching the NAIA National Championships Qualifying Standard of 17 meters.
Oredigger Track and Field is scheduled to attend the Bobcat Performance Meet this Friday in Bozeman.
