HELENA, Mont. – The Frontier Conference announced the Erck Hotels/Frontier Conference weekly awards for week three of the 2024 cross-country season.


Women's Runner of the Week:  Alyssa Plant, Montana Tech

Platt, a sophomore from Helena, Mont., was named as the Women's Runner of the Week.

Platt was the highest placed NAIA finisher in the Montana Open cross-country meet.  She clocked a time of 19 minutes, 29 seconds in the 5K racecourse, featuring a total of 48 runners.  Platt placed fifth overall in the race.

This is Platt's first career Erck Hotels/Frontier Conference Player-of-the-Week award.
 
Men's Runner of the Week:  Zach Gacnik, Carroll

Gacnik, a junior from Conifer, Colo., was selected as the Men's Runner of the Week.

Gacnik captured the individual title in the Montana Open, featuring 63 total runners on the 8K racecourse.  He finished with a time of 25 minutes, 23.8 seconds in the race.

This is Gacnik's first career Erck Hotels/Frontier Conference Player-of-the-Week award.
