HELENA, Mont. -- Brayden Koch and
Ifeanyi Okeke combined for 36 points to lead the No. 9-ranked Montana Tech men's basketball team to an 80-70 road win at Carroll College Thursday in Frontier Conference play.
Koch dumped in a game-best 19 points, while Okeke chipped in 17 points, six rebounds, four assists, and four blocks in the Orediggers' win.
Hayden Diekhans added 10 points, seven rebounds, and four assists for Tech.
Montana Tech (19-2, 7-1 Frontier) led wire-to-wire in the win. The Orediggers jumped out to a 15-5 lead and never looked back. Koch scored 13 of his 19 before halftime to aid in the effort.
After the break, Okeke went 7-for-8 from the free-throw line to score 13 second-half points and help Tech maintain its lead.
The Orediggers shot better than 50 percent (26-for-48) from the field in the winning effort.
Isaiah Crane led the Saints (8-13, 3-5) with 18 points.
Montana Tech will return home to entertain Montana Western Saturday in a 4 p.m. Frontier Conference tip.
