BUTTE -- Montana Tech's Student-Athlete Advisory Committee is excited to announce that its annual Trick or Treat for Cans food drive will continue in 2025. 

On Wednesday, October 29, Oredigger student-athletes will go door-to-door around Butte collecting canned food and other non-perishable items for the Butte Emergency Food Bank. The drive will begin at 4 p.m. and continue throughout the evening. 

If members of the community are interested in donating to the drive and SAAC members don't come knocking, Montana Tech athletics will be collecting items at the HPER Complex front desk throughout the Fall 2025 semester. 

The Montana Tech Student-Athlete Advisory Committee serves as a liaison between the student body, faculty, athletic department and student-athletes. SAAC seeks to enhance the student-athlete experience by providing opportunities while fostering a positive student-athlete image as representatives of the university, the Frontier Conference, and the NAIA.
