BUTTE -- Kinnidi Willmore put down 13 kills, Talan Dodson added 12, and the Montana Tech volleyball team swept Frontier Conference rival Rocky Mountain, 25-21, 25-12, 25-15, Friday night in Valley Bank Arena. 

The Orediggers (15-10, 11-8 Frontier Conference) built an early lead in the first set but couldn't quite shake the Battlin' Bears. The visitors cut the deficit to 22-19 in the late going before a pair of key blocks and a Dodson kill clinched the set for Montana Tech. 

The second set was all Montana Tech. The Diggers built a 9-3 lead and put the set away with 14 of the final 19 points.  

In the third, Rocky Mountain (2-22, 1-18) jumped out to a 3-0 advantage before Tech righted the ship. Trailing 6-4, the Orediggers rattled off a 9-1 run to take control. Kennedy Oman clinched the match for Tech with its final two kills. 

Freshman Ellie Reinertson total 18 assists and three aces for Montana Tech, while sophomores Brooklynn Hayes and Austin Long led the back line with 10 digs each. 

Kaitlyn Wood had seven kills and three blocks for the Battlin' Bears. 

The Orediggers will wrap up the home half of their schedule Saturday with a 2 p.m. conference match versus Carroll College.
