HELENA -- The Frontier Conference bestowed Academic All-Conference honors, presented by Billings Clinic and Logan Health, on nine Montana Tech cross country student-athletes, the league office announced Tuesday afternoon.
Five Oredigger men – Bryon Fanning, Hayden Hollow, Justin Morgan, Derek Schultz, and Ben Zerr – and four women – Bella Bermingham, Kamryn Comba, Alyssa Jany, and Peyton Walker – qualified for the award.
Student-athletes must be at least a sophomore in standing and carry a minimum 3.25 cumulative GPA to be eligible for the honor. A total of 87 student-athletes – 48 men and 39 women – made the grade across the conference.
Montana Tech will compete Friday at Billings' Amend Park in the Frontier Conference championship meet. The Oredigger women, ranked No. 17 in the NAIA, look to defend their 2024 conference crown.
