HELENA -- Despite 14 points, six rebounds, and three steals from
Brooke Badovinac, the 13th-ranked Montana Tech women's basketball team dropped a 69-41 contest at Carroll Friday evening.
The Orediggers (16-3, 12-3 Frontier Conference) struggled from the field all evening, shooting just 27.8 percent, and scored a season-low 20 points in the first half of the game.
Carroll (15-6, 13-2) led 41-20 at the half and held on for the win. The Saints got 18 points, three rebounds, and three thefts from Jillian Kanduch. She led four Saints in double figures.
Liv Wangerin and
Hadley Humpherys scored seven points apiece for Montana Tech.
The Orediggers will look to get back on the winning track Saturday at 5 p.m. at Rocky Mountain.
