SEWARD, Neb. -- Brooke Badovinac sank the game-tying 3-pointer with 1.7 seconds remaining in regulation, Hallie Neibauer scored a team-high 22 points, and the No. 16-ranked Montana Tech women's basketball team rallied for an 80-77 overtime win at No. 10 Concordia Friday afternoon on the road.

With just 2.5 seconds remaining and the Orediggers trailing by three, Badovinac caught the inbound pass from Avery Carlson and nailed an off-balance 3 to tie the score at 67. The host Bulldogs had 1.7 seconds to work with, but their last-chance attempt went begging to send the game to overtime.

Badovinac scored five more points in overtime to help the Orediggers (4-0) to the win, but it didn't come easy.

The Orediggers had a four-point lead with 2:20 to play following a Neibauer steal and fastbreak bucket by Badovinac, but Concordia (2-1) tied the game at 75 with 1:21 remaining.

On Tech's next possession, Kylie Konen came up with a huge offensive rebound, and Neibauer found her way to the line with 57 seconds on the clock. The junior gave the Orediggers the lead with a pair of free throws.

Following a defensive stop, Tech looked to Badovinac again. Chloe Larsen took the ball to the top of the key, drawing both defenders, and dished it off to the regulation hero. Badovinac dodged a defender with a dribble and nailed another 3-pointer to put Tech up five.

Concordia trimmed the lead back to three, but the Bulldogs' attempt to force another OT clanked off the rim, and Montana Tech earned its third win over a top-10 opponent in 2026 and its second win over a ranked opponent this season.

The Orediggers got out to an early 15-7 lead following Carlson's first-quarter 3, but Concordia quickly battled back. The Bulldogs closed the opening quarter on a 6-0 run to trim Tech's lead to 15-13.

The Bulldogs extended the run to 12-0 in the opening minutes of the second, but Montana Tech rallied to retake the lead on another Carlson 3-pointer with 2:19 until halftime. Tech led 39-35 at the midway point. Neibauer had 11 points at the break.

The two teams traded blows throughout the second half, but the game threatened to be done after Concordia's Sammy Leu put the home team ahead by three with 2.5 seconds remaining in regulation.

Montana Tech advanced the ball with a timeout, however, setting up Badovinac's game-tying shot.

Neibauer highlighted the stat sheet for the Orediggers, shooting 9-for-14 from the field to the tune of 22 points. She added six rebounds and three assists to her line.

Badovinac scored seven of her 12 points in the final 5:02 of the game and contributed eight rebounds and five steals to the Orediggers' cause. Carlson and Halle Haber added 11 and 10 points, respectively, for Tech, while Haber notched her first double-double of the season with 10 rebounds.

Ayla Roth led Concordia with a game-best 23 points.

Montana Tech will get no rest in its strength of schedule as the Cattle Classic continues Saturday. The Orediggers will take on No. 2-ranked and the 2026 NAIA runner-up Dakota Wesleyan at 10 a.m. Central, 9 Mountain.
