BUTTE -- Montana Tech's men's basketball team stayed unbeaten on the young season Saturday evening, topping Lewis-Clark State for a 94-77 win in the finale of the Best Western Tip Off Classic.

Brayden Koch led the way for the Orediggers (4-0) with a season-best 26 points, including 16 in the first half. Asher Williams added 22 points for Montana Tech, and Connor Michaud had a double-double with 10 points and 11 rebounds.

It was a first-half run that gave the Orediggers separation. Leading by a single point at the 10:52 mark, Michaud's layup sparked a 15-0 Tech run.

The Orediggers led 52-37 at halftime and shot better than 70 percent (19-for-27) in the period.

Williams nailed a 3-pointer to open the second-half scoring and give the Orediggers an 18-point lead, which would be their largest of the game. The Warriors (2-3) cut the lead to 11 but never closer as Tech rolled to the win.

Dylan Skaife led four Warriors in double figures with 15 points.

Montana Tech will continue its homestand Friday evening at 6 p.m. against Stanton.
