HELENA -- Montana Tech landed 33 student-athletes on the Academic All-Conference indoor track & field teams, presented by Billings Clinic and Logan Health, the league office announced Thursday.
Twenty-two Oredigger men made the grade, joined by 11 from the women's team.
To be eligible for the award, student-athletes must be at least a sophomore in standing and carry a minimum 3.25 cumulative grade-point average.
The honors come down in the leadup to the inaugural Frontier Conference indoor championships, which will be contested Saturday and Sunday at the Sanford-Jackrabbit Athletic Complex on the campus of South Dakota State University in Brookings, S.D.
Montana Tech heads into the postseason ranked No. 30 in the U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Association's indoor NAIA Track & Field Ratings Index, while the men are ranked 36th.
