BUTTE -- The Montana Tech cross country program and head coach
Jacob Sundberg are thrilled to announce the Orediggers' 2026 meet schedule.
For the first time since the 2022 season, Montana Tech will be playing host to a meet in the Mining City. The Butte Invitational is scheduled for Thursday, September 24 at Highland View Golf Course, with the men running at 3:30 p.m. and the women to follow at 4:15.
The home meet will be the third of the season for the Orediggers. Tech will open up the 2026 campaign Friday, September 4 at Montana State's MSU Bobcat Twilight in Bozeman. Two weeks later, the Orediggers will head to Missoula for the Montana Invite.
After the home meet, Montana Tech will head to Billings for the Frontier Conference Preview, hosted by Rocky Mountain College, Friday, October 9. The team will then conclude the regular season with its annual trip to Grand Rapids, Mich. for the NAIA Great Lakes Challenge on Friday, October 23.
The Orediggers will then return to Billings' Amend Park for the Frontier Conference championship meet Friday, November 6 before preparing for the NAIA Championships, scheduled for Friday, November 20 in Vancouver, Wash.

Bella Bermingham and sophomores
Amy Broek,
