BUTTE -- Montana Tech athletics is proud to partner with community supporter
Valley Bank to present Valley Bank Night during the nationally ranked Orediggers' basketball doubleheader against Dickinson State on Friday, February 6.
The Oredigger women tip off at 5 p.m., followed by the men at 7 p.m. Tickets are available in advance at
GoDiggers.com/tickets and will also be available at the door.
This game marks the public debut of several major facility enhancements made possible through Valley Bank's generous investment in the Oredigger athletics program. Fans attending Friday's games will be welcomed into a revitalized arena experience, featuring a new Daktronics video board on the south end of the arena, state-of-the-art digital scorer's tables along Kelvin Sampson Court, and updated baseline court padding.
"Valley Bank's partnership has allowed us to transform the in-game experience for our student-athletes, fans, and community,"
Matt Stepan, Montana Tech's director of athletics, said. "These upgrades are a major step forward for Montana Tech and reflect Valley Bank's deep commitment to Butte and to our students."
In addition to these enhancements, Valley Bank's contribution helped kickstart fundraising efforts for the broader
HPER Modernization Project, an initiative that will further improve Montana Tech's campus athletic and recreation facilities.
Fans in attendance on Valley Bank Night can enjoy several interactive elements, including complimentary Montana Tech and Valley Bank rally towels and other souvenirs available in the arena lobby, photo opportunities with Charlie Oredigger in front of a co-branded Montana Tech and Valley Bank backdrop, a special on-court recognition ceremony between games honoring Valley Bank leadership, and halftime entertainment and the fan-favorite Valley Bank Shot during both games.
Join Oredigger athletics again Saturday, February 7 when Montana Tech's basketball teams will return home to play host to Bismarck State. Game day will be presented by TDS Fiber. The 13th-ranked Tech women play the Mystics at 5 p.m., followed by the 20th-ranked men versus BSC at 7.
Montana Tech's football program will unveil its 2025 Frontier Conference East Division championship banner at halftime of the men's game.
