BUTTE -- The Oredigger student-athletes from each of the program's 12 sports gathered Tuesday evening inside Valley Bank Arena to celebrate the very best of Montana Tech athletics at the 2025-26 Techspy Awards, held by the Student-Athlete Advisory Committee.
SAAC representatives collected nominations from the athletics staff for eight awards, and Oredigger student-athletes from all 12 Montana Tech sports voted to determine the winners.
A celebration of records and achievements, good food, laugh-out-loud superlatives, and exquisite emcee work from associate athletic director
Paul Panisko rounded out the evening.
Frontier Conference champion teams football and women's basketball highlighted the night. The Oredigger football team, fresh off a program-record 12 wins and unbeaten regular season, collected four of the annual awards, while women's basketball swept the female athlete and rookie of the year honors.
