KANSAS CITY, Mo. -- For the second-straight week, the Montana Tech football team earned its highest-ever ranking in the STADIONIC NAIA football coaches' top 25 poll.
The Orediggers moved up to second in this week's ballot and received four of the poll's 13 first-place votes. Montana Tech trails only Keiser in the poll and checked in just ahead of this week's opponent, No. 3 The College of Idaho.
Montana Tech carries a 4-0 record into that marquee matchup following Saturday's 58-10 win over Southern Oregon. That win followed victories over two ranked programs and another over a team receiving votes to begin the campaign.
No. 13 Carroll and No. 21 Dakota State also represented the Frontier Conference in this week's poll, while Montana Western received votes.
The defending Frontier East champions will hit the road for The College of Idaho this weekend for a noon kickoff in Caldwell, Idaho.
