Biography

2015: Started all 12 games. Recorded 57 total tackles (35 solo, 22 assisted) including 6 TFL and 1 interception. Season high 9 tackles three times vs. Carroll College (9/12), MSU-Northern (10/17) and Saint Francis (11/28). Season high 3.5 TFL vs. MSU-Northern (10/17). Named Academic All-Conference.
 
2014: Appeared in 9 games. Recorded 35 tackles (18 solo, 17 assisted). Had a career-best 9 tackles (7 solo, 2 assisted) vs. College of Idaho (9/27). Named Academic All-Conference.

2013: Saw limited playing time. Recorded 7 total tackles (5 solo and 1 assisted). Had 1 pass deflection.

High School: Selected second team All-League for 4A Greater Spokane League as a defensive back. Selected 2012 Wendy’s High school Heisman Winner for Mead HS and was a state finalist for the award. Selected first team All-GSL in 2011 and 2012 in track.

Personal: Gunnar, son of Douglas and Helen, is pursuing a degree in Petroleum Engineering.
