2014-15: Appeared in 25 games making one start. Averaged 3.7 points and 3.0 rebounds a game. Scored five rebounds and pulled down six boards vs. Lewis-Clark State (Idaho). (1/17). Tallied nine points and five rebounds vs. Unviersity of Calgary (1/3). Had 10 points and 11 rebounds vs. Northwest Indian College (12/6). Had seven points and eight rebounds vs. Unviersity of Alberta-Augustana (10/10).

2013-14: Started 19 of 27 games averaging 16.4 minutes. Averaged 4.3 points on 56.9% from the field and 66.7% from the free throw line. Averaged 4.1 rebounds. Career and season high 11 points twice. Career and season high 11 rebounds twice. One double-double.

High School: As a senior, averaged 20 points and 12 rebounds per game. Selected Montana 1st team All-State as a junior and senior. Led Class A in rebounds.

Personal: Payne, the son of Barry and Heather, brings a 3.1 GPA to Tech. He also has an older brother named Keenan.
