College of the Canyon: Appeared in 11 games in two seasons for the Cougars. Tallied 27 total tackles (13 solo, 14 assisted). Had 4 career sacks and 2 forced fumbles.

High School: Played four years at Agoura High School under Charlie Wegher. Named All-League and team MVP.
