Blake Andersen enters his first year with the Diggers as a defensive line coach.
Coach Andersen comes to Tech from Black Hills State University in South Dakota, members of the Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference, where he coached the defensive line.
Andersen attended the University of Sioux Falls where he played for Coach Morrell. He redshirted a year and played four years for the Cougars. During his time there he was part of five Great Plains Athletic Conference Championship teams and three NAIA National Championship teams, 2006, 2008 and 2009. In 2007 and 2010, Andersen contributed to National Runner-up finishes.
A native of Marion, South Dakota, Andersen graduated from the University of Sioux Falls in 2011 with a degree in Business Administration and a minor in Economics. He is currently pursuing his Masters in Strategic Leadership.
