Chris Alexander

Alexander starts his second season with Montana Tech as the defensive line coach. He comes to Tech from Hamilton High School where he was defensive coordinator for one season. Prior to that, he coached defensive line at Roosevelt and Edison High Schools in Fresno, CA. Before coaching at the high school level, Alexander coached three seasons for the University of Montana Western on the defensive line.

Last season, Alexander coached All-Conference selections Mike Waldman and Jake Workman. The Orediggers were also ranked seventh in the nation in sacks in 2012.
 
Alexander, originally from Butte, played football, basketball and track for Butte High. He attended University of Montana Western to play football and earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Education-Health and Human Performance and Special Education in 2008. 

Chris resides in Butte with his lovely wife Bradie and his two dogs Berkley and Titan.
