Jake Crawford joined the Oredigger football coaching staff in the spring of 2019 as the defensive line coach.
Crawford arrives in Butte after spending two seasons coaching the defensive line at Valley City State University. At Valley City, Crawford coached seven all-conference defensive lineman, four first-team, two second-team, and one honorable mention selection. In 2018, the Valley City defensive front was part of a defense that ranked in the top 15 in run defense, opponent first downs, total defense per game, and scoring defense per game.
Crawford played collegiately for the Orediggers and was a team captain, all-conference defensive end, and a USA Football All-American. Crawford helped the Orediggers win two Frontier Conference Championships and played in the USA Football All-American Bowl Game as a senior.
