Jay LeProwse rejoined the Montana Tech football family ahead of the 2026 season as an assistant coach working primarily with linebackers.

LeProwse starred for the Orediggers from 1998-2001 at the running back position, earning first-team NAIA All-America honors in his senior season. A Montana Tech Hall of Famer, the Butte native remains third on the Orediggers' all-time rushing yards list.
